Sixteen-year old Juno Temple is unexpectedly confronted with pregnancy after a one-night sexual encounter with her friend Paulie Bleeker (Michael Cera). While initially considering abortion, she changes her mine and agrees to place her child with an adoptive couple. However, as the movie progresses, it asks the question if Juno will be able to follow through on her decision.

Watch it because: Juno is smart, funny, and touching at the same time. There have been many movies on teenage pregnancies and young girls coming to terms with motherhood but this one truly stands out. Ellen Page is terrific as young Juno and portrays the depth of her character flawlessly.
