David Bowie was also gifted when it came to acting, and he starred in numerous movies. Most notably David made an appearance as the character Jareth the Goblin King in Jim Henson’s fantasy film Labyrinth in 1986, whilst he also appeared as Pontius Pilate in Martin Scorsese’s 1988 drama The Last Temptation of Christ. His most recent appearance was in the character of Nicola Tesla in Christopher Nolan’s film The Prestige in 2006.
