For those of you who don’t know, Michael J. Fox has been fighting Parkinson’s disease for a very long time. He became vocal about it in 1998 and revealed about his battle in various interviews.
But instead of collecting sympathies, the superstar took bold steps in spreading awareness about it. He even let his struggle written into Louis Canning, his character on The Good Wife.
Today, Michael J. Fox has a Foundation known as the Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) for Parkinson’s Research and is dedicated to ensuring the development of cure.
