Catherine Zeta-Jones, an A-list actress who is married to Michael Douglas, spent some time at a mental health treatment center back in 2011 for bipolar disorder. There are several different types of bipolar disorder, and Zeta-Jones lives with bipolar II disorder. Bipolar II disorder is characterized by alternating episodes of depression and hypomania, and there is no cure. The condition can be managed with medication, counseling, and nutritional supplements.

After receiving bipolar treatment at an inpatient facility, Zeta-Jones seems to have her condition under control. The award-winning actress currently spends her free time doting on her 2 children and traveling with her husband, and the family is frequently photographed on outings together.
