George Michael passed away on December 25, Christmas Day, and it was reported that he had died peacefully in his sleep at home. The pop star was a huge loss to the music industry, and had sold more than 80 million records all over the world, in a career that spanned four decades.

His music career began, when he was one half of the pop duo Wham! However, he came to fame with his debut solo single, Careless Whisper. His debut solo album, Faith, was released in 1987, and managed to sell more than 20 million copies all over the world.
