Being the winner of the Pro Bowl honors nine different times and two All-Pro honors, Fran Tarkenton is another name in the list of great NFL players that never got a chance to win a Super Bowl. He was the Former Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants quarterback, and was also named 1975 MVP.
He also ranks eighth and sixth on the all-time list of touchdowns and yards with 342 touchdowns and 47,003 yards passing. But sadly, he was unable to win a Super Bowl even when he came close to the game three times in four different seasons.
