The movie told the story of Philippe Petit wire-walk in 1974 between the Twin Towers of New York. The director cast Joseph Gordon-Levitt to play the French artist. For the role, the actor had to speak in a French accent.

The lengthy movie and the questionable casting decision played a factor in the movie being declared a dud at the box office.

What made the movie worth a watch was the director’s presentation of the heist and of course, the tightrope-walking scene in 3D was truly epic. In the end, it was an entertaining and riveting movie.
