Jackie Kennedy was born in 1929 and after attending Vassar she joined George Washington University, from where she graduated in French Literature. She married in 1953 to John F. Kennedy, and as First Lady spent the majority of her time refurnishing and restoring the White House.

She was known for her impeccable fashion sense and was also revered for her incredible dignity and poise after the association of her husband.
