2) On Tax Reforms                           (2 of 5)

The Question: “The US tax code is filled with preferences, carve-outs, and exceptions that only benefit upper-class, while the rest suffer. What plan do you have to reform the tax code?”

Most candidates will tend to come out with tax plans that will reduce taxes on all households, along with generating revenue for the government. However, when you bring about tax changes, there are going to be losers and winners. A proposal showing a large number of ‘winners’, will reduce government revenues significantly, and as a result debt is going to be sky-high.

In order to come out with great tax reforms all loopholes will have to be eliminated, so that lower tax rates may be justified.
