Not every celebrity is just a pretty face with artistic talent. Many stars excelled at some of the finest learning institutions in the land. Some of them even went back to get their law degrees late in their careers. Take a look at some of the celebrities you probably guessed are brainiacs and others that will genuinely surprise you!

Former Democratic mayor of Cincinnati, OH, is more famously known as the host of notoriously trashy talk show “The Jerry Springer Show.” Born in London, Springer emigrated to NYC in 1949 with his family, settling in Queens. Earning a BA from Tulane in 1965, Jerry studied political science, and eventually earned his JD from Northwestern University in 1968.

Springer became a political campaign advisor to Robert F. Kennedy, but after his assassination, he joined the Cincinnati law firm of Frost & Jacobs, now Frost Brown Todd.
